The BNY Mellon College Relations team would like to invite you, Carnegie Mellon Students, to join us on February 22, 2010 for a Presentation / Networking event with President, BNY Mellon Pennsylvania, Executive Director of BNY Mellon Wealth Management, and CMU Alum Don Heberle.  The event is designed to expose you to BNY Mellon, our various lines of business, and share more about why Pittsburgh is targeted as a global growth center for BNY Mellon job opportunities.  Following this presentation there will be a question and answer session.
The event will be held at One BNY Mellon Center in our Client Reception area,  third floor from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. on February 22, 2010 and will be followed by light refreshments.
Some key topics of discussion will include:
BNY Mellon Pittsburgh --Job Growth, Employment, Fastest Growing Location in the Americas
·        Nearly 7,000 full time employees  or about 1 of every six employees in the company is based in Pittsburgh
·        BNY Mellon has added more than 700 jobs in the Pittsburgh region over the past three years and is positioned for additional growth
·        BNY Mellon's significant regional job growth and employment is a reflection of the company's continuing commitment to the City and Region
·        Pittsburgh is growing for BNY Mellon chiefly due to the ability to find highly qualified personnel, which includes recruiting directly from area universities

·        As of 1/2010, there were some 300 career opportunities available from BNY Mellon's Pittsburgh campus. The jobs, which offer anywhere from entry level to six-figure salaries, are available at a time when BNY Mellon has successfully completed its integration. These listings cover almost all of the global financial services firm’s business units and areas, including a relatively new division for the Pittsburgh Region --- Corporate Trust.
